Trust Accountant


Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the successful applicant will be working with the Trust Accounting Team in the preparation of financial statements for a range of Trust and Managed Company clients. At certain times of the year, this may involve longer hours in order to maintain client service standards.

In addition to the role of Trust Accountant, the incumbent will separately be responsible for maintenance of the Trust Company’s sales ledgers for our Personal and Corporate clients and working with the Senior Manager, Trust Services and Administration on the phased implementation of the Global Trust Operations Model, including trouble shooting, data integrity checks and delivering system solutions.

As a graduate in possession of a recognized accounting designation (ACCA/CPA/CA), the successful applicant must be detailed oriented, able to work under pressure, meet required deadlines and have proven communication and organizations skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and a thorough understanding of Excel and Word are a pre-requisite as are a minimum of 5 years experience in accounts receivable billing and collections.

Prior experience working in a busy offshore trust company and familiarity with IT systems is also desirable.
